Termez branch of Toshkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov has been defined the main functions In accurdance with the Decree №2909 of the President of the Republik of Uzbekistan in April 20, 2017, “ On measures for further development of higher education system” and according to the Decree №3101 of the President of the Uzbekistan in June 29,2017 “ Measures to establish Termez branch of Toshkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov”.
There are two faculties of “Construction and Transport Systems” and” Light Industry and Chemical Techlology” faculties. At these faculties there are chairs of “General professional subjects humanitarian and Socio-Economic Sciences” “Chemical and food technology”, ”Transport system and technologial machines” ”Mathematics and Natural sciences and more than 90 professors and teachers teat students.
At the branch there is a center of information technologies, information resource center and computer design circles. The Students of the branch have been actively participating in national and international contests and competitions.
Termez branch of Toshkent State Technikal University trains bachelors in the following areas:

- 5340600-Explotation of transport constructions (by types of transport facilities)
- 5340800- Motorways and airfields
- 5320400-Chemical technology (by types of products) (Russian)
- 5320900-Design and technolgy of light indusrty products (by kinds of production)
- 5321000 –Foot technology (by types of oproducts)
- 5630100-Ecology and environment production (by sector and industry ).
International Relations and Scientific Activities. The branch ha signet a Memorandum of Understanding with the Higher Education Institutions of Ufa State univercity of Economics and Servise in the Russian Federation ,Ufa State Oil Technical univercity and Oktyabrskiy Branch of the Ufa State Oil Technical univercity , the contract of Memorandum of Understanding was sent for the South Kazakhstan State named M.O. Auezov .
