As part of the opening of the Week, a meeting of the leadership of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov with a delegation of Nagoya University in the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth at the Tashkent State Technical University.
On November 4, 2019, a meeting of the leadership of the Tashkent State Technical University between with the delegation of Nagoya University, headed by professors Yokio Ishida and Susumu Hara, as part of the director of the representative office of Nagoya University in Tashkent E. Elmurodov, head of the Department of International relations Nagoya University Ms. Yuriko Nishizaka, and the representative of Nagoya University in Tashkent Yeichi Imamur was held at the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth.
The delegation was received by the rector of TashSTU Turabdjanov S.M., 1st Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Zaripov O.O., Vice-Rector for International Relations of Tashkent State Technical University Professor Mannanov U.V. and Director of the Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth Khaltursunov E.B.
At the meeting, organizational issues related to the ongoing from November 4 to 12, 2019 were considered for students, master students, doctoral students and young teachers of the Tashkent State Technical University academic week professors of the University of Nagoya Yokio Ishida and Susumu Hara, as well as about the possibilities of creating a joint educational program for the preparation of masters in the next academic year.
According to the schedule of the stay, on November 4, 2019, the delegation got acquainted with the educational process of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, classes for undergraduates. Further, a meeting was organized with representatives of the administration, educational department and departments of the faculty of mechanical engineering of Tashkent State Technical University to discuss a preliminary future curriculum for a joint educational program for the preparation of masters. At the end of the academic week of November 12, 2019 testing will be conducted, as a result of which successfully passed testing (2-3 students) will have the opportunity to undergo an internship and advanced training at the beginning of next year in one of the laboratories and departments of Nagoya University.
The meeting was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
