On April 8, at the Regional Conference of Russian and Uzbek Higher Education Institutions Rectors in the Russian Federation, the rector of the University S.Turabdjanov took part in the delegation of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education headed by Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education U. Begimkulov and 20 rectors of the Ministry of Higher Education.
The main topic of the regional conference was the implementation of the documents signed at the first Uzbek-Russian Education Forum “New Economy – New Staff” held in Tashkent in October 2018 and preparation for the second Russian-Uzbek educational forum.
The rector of the university S.M.Turabdjanov chaired the regional conference “Practical Mechanisms of Cooperation between the Universities of Russia and Uzbekistan”.
Also at the plenary session “Cooperation between the Tashkent State Technical University and the Russian Higher Education Institutions” was held the plenary session “Technical training – the basis of active innovation development” at the plenary session “Implementation of the first stage of the Uzbek-Russian Education Forum”.
In the report, the participants of the conference were informed in detail about the activities of the University and the future plans of the university.
Within the framework of the conference, the rector S.M.Turabdjanov will also hold talks with the Astrakhan State Technical University and sign a memorandum of cooperation.
For information, on October 18, 2018, the Uzbek-Russian educational forum was held in Tashkent with a total of 114 contracts and agreements with Russian partners. Specifically, it has been agreed to open up to 6 prestigious universities and 2 faculties of RF, to introduce 52 joint educational programs in Uzbekistan. In particular, our university has signed cooperation agreements with four Russian universities.
